The objective of this course is to offer a free, self-directed, and introductory online course to help public health staff, managers, and leaders build the knowledge, skills, and competencies to support action on health equity.
The course contains five online modules that are designed to do the following:
- provide foundational knowledge on health equity and the social determinants of health
- facilitate learner reflection
- illustrate health equity organizational capacity-building
- provide examples of effective health equity action by public health practitioners and organizations.
Completion of all five modules requires at least 2.5 hours.
Target Audience: Public health professionals at all levels and students.
Certificate: A certificate of completion will be generated upon completion of all five modules.
Technical Requirements: Speakers or headphones are required for the audio component.
